RABIGH First lubricants oils company has announced the launch of ZIC, an international high quality lubricant oil, as part of its partnership with the international lubrication oils producer SK. During the press conference to launch ZIC oil with the sponsorship of Jeddah Industrial and Commercial Chamber, and in the presence of a Korean diplomatic delegation and the vice president of SK lubricants, it was announced that ZIC's characteristics include fuel saving, engine protection for longer use, and for better tolerance in hard circumstances. Ahman Bin Hammad Alkhonini, CEO of Rabigh First, said: "Our strategic partnership with SK is meant to support the Saudi lubricant market with high-efficiency products that preserve the environment, as SK has developed many technologies in the field of lubricants industry, and it has obtained a patent from 23 countries around the world." Alkhonini added that the company is also committed to the principle of change and innovation since its inception and this is why it spread its branches and factories around the world and has reached a production capacity of 43,500 barrels per day, and it has worldwide partnerships with different companies including Spanish Repsol, Indonesian Pertamina, and Japanese JX. Lee Young, the vice president of SK, clarified that SK actively responds to the lubrication oils demands through building more factories and production facilities, and this partnership with Rabigh First enables them to enter the Middle East and North Africa region. Speaking about technical specifications of ZIC oil, Yaser Bin Ahmad Alshiekh, the general manager of Rabigh First, stated: "ZIC products (ZIC) are 100% industrial lubricating oils (Fully Synthetic) with high quality and are produced using essential oils of third-generation (Group3). SK for manufacturing lubricants is the largest producer of third generation (Group3) essential oils and they sell these products to the largest manufacturer of lubricants in international and local companies in global and domestic markets. As it produces the base for the production of industrial oils that are produced in SK laboratories and factories."
