Gulbargavis bid farewell to Mirza Azam Baig

Gulbarga Charitable and Welfare Trust Jeddah and Rabigh chapter bid farewell to outgoing president Mirza Azam Baig recently in Jeddah who is going on final exit. The event was attended by members, executives and renowned personalities from Jeddah, Makkah and Rabigh.
While speaking at the event, Baig appreciated the cooperation, support, love and affection showered by all the Gulbargavis during his tenure as president of Gulbarga Charitable and Welfare Trust. He expressed natural inclination towards helping the poor and needy people from our homeland and that he considers it to be very close to his heart. "I will spend my major time serving the poor community in Gulbarga," he added.
President Jeddah Chapter, Syed Nasir Khursheed, drew the attention of the audience to giving charity, while stressing the importance of charity and their contribution to the society. He shared his memories of association with Baig and appreciated the role of the outgoing president in building the trust to this level. He greatly applauded the contribution, dedication services of Baig through various practical examples in which the latter successfully handled situations and implemented the Trust's policies charismatically. For social activities good team work is required and we have strong team to handle activities of the trust, he added.
President of the Rabigh Chapter Ilyas Noori thanked the outgoing president and team of Jeddah chapter for supporting and energizing the activities of the Rabigh chapter as it also striving to help poor and needy people back home in Gulbarga.
Vice President GCWT Jeddah chapter Saleem Khaleefa said, "I have spent around 20 years with the outgoing president and saying goodbye to a president, a friend and a neighbor is not an easy task, I appreciate his contribution to the Forum and due to his time management, punctuality and organized behavior, GCWT is running smoothly and especially its record keeping is in an excellent shape."
Senior member of GCWT Rabigh, Sulaiman Abubakr, who is popularly known as Sulaiman Rabigh, conveyed thanks to outgoing president for inspiring the team to work with dedication for helping poor and needy people.
Nisar Nawade, executive member from Jeddah, praised the activities initiated by outgoing president and wished him best of luck for his future endeavors'.
Minhajuddin received memento of appreciation on behalf of Mohammed Arifuddin, who was president of Rabigh chapter and had also left on final exit. Mohammed Abdul Waseem and Mohammed Moizuddin were presented mementoes of appreciation for working hard in the growth of Rabigh chapter.
Memento of appreciation and a gift was presented to outgoing president Baig from the members of Jeddah Makkah and Rabigh. All the speakers and members prayed for the departed soul of (late) Abdul Sami Shaikh and his wife who died in a road accident, and prayed that may Allah forgive all their sins and grant them high ranks in Jannah and may Allah provide patience to all the relatives of the deceased in this difficult time.
Program started with recitation of verses from the Holy Qur'an by Ahmed Raza. Saleem Khaleefa anchored the program, welcome speech was made by Sajid Shaikh, general secretary of the trust, in which he welcomed and praised the participation of all Jeddah Rabigh and Makkah members for attending the event, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Abdul Waheed Khurram, treasurer of the trust, in which he expressed deep sense of appreciation towards all the guests and also requested members to continue to provide similar support to new President Syed Nasir Khursheed.
