Al-Madinah I do not understand why some people do not take care of their health and continue to smoke tobacco although they know very well that it is harmful. Smoking changes one's lifestyle and enslaves the person who falls under the control of cigarettes. I tweeted the other day this short conversation: "A man asked me if I was a smoker and I told him I was not. I do not smoke because I am a happy person." By happy, I mean the happiness described by the German philosopher Nietzsche as the type of happiness that one derives from oneself and not caused by an external factor. Believe it or not, the tweet was a hit and so many reacted to it that I had to tweet another similar story. A person asked me about the thing that we puff on then throw on the ground and tread on with our shoes. My answer was the cigarette. This is what smokers do; they inhale the poison of a cigarette and then tread on it. Smoking can make a person become a slave. This means that the person is weak, does not have a strong will and cannot shoulder responsibility. I once asked a 90-year-old man who had been a smoker for 70 years and who was a chain smoker why he started smoking. His answer was funny. He said: "My son, I smoke because I find solace in a cigarette. Humans have built a loyal relationship with a cigarette. They die because of it and it burns for them." I feel sorry for smokers because they have deprived themselves of smelling fresh air all the time.
