Shell Saudi Arabia, Wärtsilä hold seminar on power performance

Al Jomaih and Shell Lubricating Oil Company (JOSLOC) recently held a joint seminar with Wärtsilä (a global leader in complete lifecycle power solutions for the marine and energy markets) at Crown Plaza Hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, focusing on advanced lubricant solutions and the latest innovations in engine performance within the power and cement sectors. Shell was recognized for its close collaboration with Wärtsilä and for properly assessing and meeting its product and service needs, along with the willingness to continue to grow and improve the working relationship over time. For the past years, Shell and Wärtsilä has synergies to bring sustainable solutions and services for customers. Both companies desire to build on existing relationship to pursue Solutions and Services in order to optimize performance for both the Wärtsilä Energy Solution the Marine solution with compatible LNG, Fuels or Special Gases and the appropriate Lubricating Oil.
Representatives from over 60 companies across the Kingdom attended the seminar, including technical specialists, key influencers and decision makers where they were introduced to the latest premium product portfolios for Stationary Power Engines (Shell Argina & Shell Gadinia), specialized lubricants for the Power industries and which are proven for reduced maintenance costs and increased engine reliability.
Hilmar Van Den Dool, Global Account Manager at Shell Global Solutions and Qasim Latif, Business Development General Manager at Wärtsilä emphasized on the global and local partnership between both parties and how Shell is working closely with Wärtsilä to drive best innovation in lubricants and applications.
Praveen Nagpal, Product Application Specialists at Shell Global Solutions, presented the Shell Argina Oil that are designed especially for Power Engines and debated with the audience on how to improve operational efficiency of the engines through right lubricant practices.
Loganathan Venkatachalapathi, general manager agreement sales - at Wärtsilä MEA conducted a presentation on the new technology of Wartsilla Power engines and how Wärtsilä Genius services will enhance the performance of customers assets as well to help their business top line growth.
Praveen said: "Keeping your power engines running efficiently, safely and reliably is critical for a profitable and competitive business. Though not an easy task at all, our wide range of oils are designed to do just that, since they protect your investment, help reduce operating costs while complying with strict environmental standards."
