Abdullah Khan cracked a ton as Jeddah Tigers downed AOT Digital Tech by a solitary run in WPCA Morning T20 here.
Batting first, Jeddah Tigers racked up 183 for 4 thanks to Abdullah Khan's innings of 130 in 70 balls (21 fours). He added 107 in 68 balls for the first wicket with Saeed (25). Ali took 2-15 and Mustafa 2-16. AOT Digital Tech fell short by a single run as it closed its innings at 182 for 8. Zakir Habib compiled 50, Anas 21, Omar Khan 40 and Omar Hashmi 50. Kamran grabbed 2-16 and Khalid 2-34.
Sadafco defeated Cousin XI by 7 runs. Sadafco piled up 171 for 6. Ali Jan Mugheri scored 63 and Zubair Mulla 57 as the two added 119 for the 3rd wicket. Saqib stroked 17. Javed grabbed 4 for 21. Cousin XI was restricted to 164 for 7. Aqeel hit 22, Ikram 32 and Khurram 70 not out with 8 fours and a six. Khurram grabbed 3 for 24 and Zain 2-23.
ADI XI thrashed Wolves XI by 51 runs. ADI, using the track first, piled up 181 for 5. Mohammed Sattar Ali hammered 92 in 38 balls, while Nabeel scored 28 and Farhan 18. Tayyab took 3-29 and Talha 2-30. Wolves was restricted to 130 for 8 as Tayyab scored 27 and Fayyaz 15. Ali took 2-38, Shah 2-31 and Inayat 2-12.
Crown Blue thrashed GBest IDB by 7 wickets. GBest posted 129 for 6 through skipper Muzammil (68 in 42 balls) and Alam (16). Junaid bagged 2-16 and Saqib Butt 2-31. Crown Blue reached 131 for 3 in 87 balls as Saleem Meher smashed 51 in 33 balls and Saqib Butt remained unbeaten on 54 off 39 balls. Iftikhar remained unbeaten on 26. Alam claimed 2-24.
Brasa De Brazil prevailed over Al-Saudi Green by 79 runs. Brasa De Brazil chose to bat first and racked up 159 for 7. Wasim remained unbeaten on 33, Faiz added 32 and Naeem 23. Emad took 3-27 and Imran Kaleem 2-27. Al-Saudi Green, in reply, crashed for 80. Faiz scored 21 and Abdur Rehman 10. Shahid took 3-9 and Majid 3-10.
Nesma Holding won against Hanifa Tigers by 30 runs. Nesma Holding piled up 168 for 8. Ben sliced 42, while Sheraz 41 as the duo added 62 after Jawwad made 19. Akram remained unbeaten on 20. Adnan claimed 3-16 and Nouman 3-35. Hanifa Tigers, in response, was bowled out for 138. Umair compiled 31, Kashif 39 and Nouman 19. Zafar Iqbal was the pick of the bowlers with 4 for 25, Rana scalped 2-30, Jawad 2-22 and Malik 2-29.
Star XI had the better of Ralco by 3 wickets. Ralco posted 166 for 7 thanks to Shams (75), Qasad (29) and Shafaqat (16). Rizwan took 2-14. Star XI achieved the victory target (170) for the loss of 7 wickets in 107 balls. Rizwan smashed a match-winning knock of 73 in 38 balls and Waqas Tariq contributed 15. Qasad took 2-31. — SG
