Campaign back for a healthier ME
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 23 - 01 - 2016

With its promise of Good Food, Good Life, this year, Nestlé celebrates its 150th anniversary. And to commence the celebrations, Nestlé Middle East, the leading Nutrition, Health and Wellness Company, is inviting you to Choose Wellness. On Jan. 28-30 join us at Red Sea Mall, Jeddah and choose wellness with your family or friends, to learn all about the three behaviors: Eat Healthier, Move More and Live Better.
"Now in its third year, the choose wellness campaign was developed to help people in the region easily understand and combat the growing rates of obesity," said Zeinab Maktabi, nutrition, health & wellness manager at Nestlé Middle East. "Leading a healthy lifestyle is a choice and it should start at home with the support of family and friends, which is why we are inviting everyone to choose wellness today."
Residents who visit the choose wellness stand at Red Sea Mall, Jeddah, will enjoy the following experiences. They will get a free nutrition consultation, where a professional nutritionist will provide tips on how to move more, eat healthier and live better; fitness game challenge, where people can choose between two fitness games and challenge themselves as they test their fitness level and strength; choose wellness, where people can take the pledge and tell us how they will choose wellness in 2016; and a chance to receive fitness giveaways to help them lead a healthier lifestyle.
Thousands of residents, Nestlé Middle East employees and retail customers have already pledged their commitment to choose wellness by embarking on a series of nutrition classes and activities designed to promote and encourage healthy eating habits and an active lifestyle.
"This is not just about changing habits for a month or two, we aim to get families to make these changes permanent as choose wellness is for life," said Maktabi.
