Published in The Saudi Gazette on 20 - 01 - 2016

JEDDAH —Continuing Education Center (CEC) in Jeddah is launching several business programs in collaboration with some international institutes during the first quarter of the year.
CEC, in collaboration with Leoron Professional Development Institute, is organizing a five-day "Certified Business Operations Professionals" Program that will start on Feb. 8 in the center.
Certified International Project Manager (CIPM) is one of the programs that will be held on Feb. 21-25.
The other certified course that will be launched at the moment is the Certified Human Resources Analyst (CHRA), which is a program in collaboration with the American Academy of Project Management. The program will take place in March.
According to Director General of UBT Continuing Education Center and Director of UBT International University Relations, Amir Dhia, CCIB Chartered Certified International Banker is another program that will be given, with the collaboration of Global Academy of Finance and Management, and in partnership with LEORON Professional Development Institute.
"CEC is organizing Sales Management Certified Program, Certified Executive Personal Assistant, Certified in Financial Planning and Analysis, Finance for Non-Professionals, and International Certificate in Advanced Leadership Skills," he added.
CEC also offers a wide range of International Certified Programs in various fields, including Management and Administration, Occupational Health and Safety, as well as Luxury (Brand, Services, Hospitality).
He explained that CEC offers in-house programs tailored to the needs of companies. Several companies approach CEC on a regular basis to provide their staff with professional training in view of their priorities and specific needs. The programs are for both genders, with facilities adapted to accommodate both.
"CEC International Certified Programs fees range from SR10,000 to SR14,000," he further said, noting that the "fee includes the international certificate. There is also a group registration fee for more than two participants per program."
Dhia moreover said "CEC is distinguished for its 4 "I"s, which stand for: International Certified Programs delivered by International Certified Trainers with International Certified Partners and valued International Recognition."
He noted that CEC, which aims to raise the standards of the labor force as a major contributor to national economic wealth and growth, was established in 2008 as a center for professional training and career development. Since then, it has trained numerous professionals from various sectors in government, business and society at its facility on the 27th floor of the King Road Tower, Jeddah.
