Rasasi launches Hawas fragrance
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 20 - 01 - 2016

RASASI Perfumes has announced the launch of chic fragrance ‘Hawas' across the region. The new offering from the region's leading oriental perfume house brings together a blend of contemporary notes inspired by nature, haute couture and exotic fashion and is expected to be a big hit with young, fashion-forward audiences in the Middle East.
"We are delighted to announce the launch of the Hawas collection to discerning customers across the region. Hawas appeals to the younger Khaleeji generation – a dynamic demographic that is tearing up the rulebook and carving out unique fashion trends that celebrate individuality. Hawas captures the adventurous and exploratory spirit of modern Middle Eastern men and women. The contemporary notes of this chic fragrance have been specially formulated to have an attitude that resonates with contemporary regional audiences," said Imitiyaz Kalsekar, Director, Rasasi Perfumes.
Inspired by the textures of the python, one of the most beautiful and
exotic members of the reptile family, Hawas has been designed to capture the sensuality and texture associated with the species, fusing its qualities with a flamboyance that is redolent of haute couture. Hawas plays on the emotional undercurrents of desire, attraction and obsession with a concoction that is a brilliant interplay of one's deeper yearnings and outward expressions. A bold fashion statement, Hawas reflects the passion of the modern generation to break away from the old norms and explore unchartered territories.
Hawas for men blends cinnamon, bergamot, orange blossom and grey amber to create an aquatic scent designed to embody masculine strength and vigour. The fragrance is inflected with fresh marine aromatic notes that melt into amber woods. The elegant bottle, with a python wrapped around the stopper, symbolizes poise and confidence of the young Middle Eastern man.
Hawas for women incorporates pomegranate, jasmine sambac and vetiver for a chic haute couture perfume aimed at women who are seeking an edgy, yet chic, fashion statement. The sensational floriental woody fragrance infused with the gourmet notes of pralines, grapefruit and red apple give it an exotic and highly desirable scent. The sophisticated bottle, resplendent in golden hues with a python coiled around the stopper, has been designed to reflect the alluring yet determined nature of the modern Middle Eastern woman.
