Pak Shaheen to meet Lahore Lions

RIYADH — Pak Shaheen and Lahore Lions qualified for the final of the Saudi Orix 40-Over tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by Saudi Orix leasing company.
Nadeem Babar maintained his amazing form by scoring his third consecutive century — fourth in the event and 205th of his career in Saudi Arabia.
Al-Kharaj League (40 overs)
Nadeem Babar's stunning all-round performance went in vain as KFSH Blues lost to Lahore Lions by 16 runs. Lahore Lions, batting first, posted 335-9. Awais played an outstanding innings, while Muzzafar supported him with 56. Babar showed his class with the ball and picked up 5 wickets.
In reply, KFSH Blues could manage only 319. Star batsman Babar scored his third consecutive ton, while smashing a splendid 135. Munawar scored 50 and Khurram 35. Muzaffar and Imran took 3 wickets each and Awais 2.
In the second semifinal, Pak Shaheen defeated CKK by 201 runs. Batting first, Pak Shaheen posted 426-5. Kamran played a blinder, scoring 150 off just 84 balls. Ishaq made 90 and Faisal 61 and Abdul Waheed 46.
In reply, CKK was restricted to 225. Ibrar ul Haq was the pick of the bowlers as he claimed 5 wickets. Faisal and Abdul Waheed shared 2 wickets each.
Diriyah League (T20)
Phoenix CC downed Detecon Eagles by 27 runs. Phoenix CC tallied 205 as Noman top scored with 65, while Raja and Asif contributed 38 and 29 runs, respectively. Rizwan and Arsalan grabbed 2 wickets each. In reply, Detecon Eagles managed 178 only. Arsalan (43) and Imran (41) showed some fight. Ammar picked up 2 wickets.
Al-Momen International School lost to Youngsters XI by 23 runs. Youngsters XI posted 193-7. Yasir played a superb knock of 97, while Zahid supported with 21. Adeel took 3 wickets and Abdullah got 2. Al-Momen was restricted to 170-7.
Seham defeated Saudi Zaas by 7 wickets. Saudi Zaas was bowled out for a meager 107 runs. Faiz top scored with 46. Tahir took 3 wickets, while Nasir and Owais grabbed 2 each. Seham rushed to the target in just 13.3 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Noor hammered a match-winning 67.
Delhi Dare Devils humbled Lahore Badshah Green by 6 wickets. Lahore Badshah Green was bowled out for 133. Wasim grabbed 3 wickets and Atif 2. Delhi Dare Devils scored the required 134 in 14.5 overs. Atif (41), Mirza (36) and Sahib (29) ensured an easy win.
In a thrilling encounter, Kingdom Warriors downed Challengers XI by 1 run. Kingdom Warriors collected 175, losing 6 wickets. Sameer and Arsalan scored 33 and 31, respectively. Nasir bowled exceptionally well and picked up 5 wickets. In reply, Challengers XI managed 174 only. Virul (74) and Samar (56) smashed fifties. Hussain took 4 wickets.
