2 workers injured in wall collapse

Two workers sustained injuries and survived a near-death experience after a wall collapsed on top of them. Eastern Province Red Crescent spokesman Fahd Al-Ghamdi said the victims suffered mild injuries and were taken to Al-Rowdah Hospital.
EP Red Crescent has 5,450 cases last month
DAMMAM — The Red Crescent in the Eastern Province responded to 5,450 emergency cases during the past month. Red Crescent spokesman Fahd Al-Ghamdi said 3,061 of patients in the cases were treated at hospital, while the remainder received on the spot attention. Paramedics are trained to quickly judge urgent cases and take the decision to transport a patient to hospital or treat him on site, depending on the severity of the patient's health condition.
Two women accused of assaulting student
MADINAH — Two women have been accused of physically assaulting a high school student on Sunday. A source said Madinah education directorate is investigating an incident where two veiled women entered Girls Al-Hadiyah Ashar High School in east of Madinah without permission and attacked a student. The directorate is looking into how the two women were able to gain access to the school despite the presence of a guard. According to the source, the victim was involved in a fight with another student last week, and investigators suspect that they may be one of the assailants. The victim was standing near the school cafeteria when she was attacked by the two women who she was unable to identify. The directorate said there was no clear evidence or indication of the identity of the assailants, but it suspects they are students or staff members of the school, as they knew their way around the building.
2 die and 2 hurt in road accidents
TABUK — Two people died and two were injured in two separate road accidents on Sunday. Tabuk Red Crescent spokesman Khalid Al-Enizi said the first accident took place in Al-Murooj district behind a ceremony hall. Two people suffered mild injuries and were taken to King Fahd Public Hospital. The second accident took place in Dhibaa Governorate, and resulted in the deaths of two people. Both casualties were taken to Dhibaa Public Hospital.
12 bottles of alcohol seized
RIYADH — The Custom Control has seized more than 12 bottles of alcohol hidden in a vehicle. Al-Bathaa Custom Control Director Abdulrahman Al-Muhanna said officers found heavy wooden boxes in the vehicle, and after close inspection found more than 12 bottles of alcohol hidden between wooden panels on the sides of the boxes. According to Custom Control, most smugglers bringing drugs, alcohol, weapons and other illegal items into the Kingdom use land routes, rather than air or sea. — Okaz/Saudi Gazette
