Manzil — A Downtown Destination
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 26 - 12 - 2015

Saudi Gazette
Tucked away somewhere along the glitzy downtown driveway, Manzil is a curious destination hidden in the heart of Dubai designed in the most arabesque manner.
Manzil is for the understated and private traveler, who prefers to be backstage, but still likes to be a part of the action and enjoy added luxury.
The hotel's name, which means home in Arabic, runs parallel to its identity and philosophy.
It is literally, your home in Arabic, and offers an ambiance that prioritizes Arab hospitality.
From the elaborate arabesque patterns, to the interiors and cuisine, Manzil is a boutique hotel for those looking to spend some quality time in Dubai, mainly in the downtown area.
Vida Hotels and Resorts, which is a two-minute walk away, but miles apart in terms of brand essence, manage the hotel.
While Vida is more urban, Manzil dictates Arab hospitality and character.
The rooms, much like Vida are confined to small spaces and can be a critical factor for Arab families traveling to Dubai.
Their basic deluxe room provides just enough space for two, but ideal for one on a business or short leisure trip.
It does not feed lavish or what can be essential needs for those looking for a comfortable and greater space to enjoy with friends and family.
Although its location is key, positioning it opposite the Dubai mall and only 20 minutes drive from the airport.
The hotel is a good choice for those planning corporate meetings.
It has four meetings rooms, two of which can host up to 140 guests.
With a great outdoors pool for hotel guests, the hotel has some of the most fashionable hangout spots in downtown.
The Courtyard offers great Arabic food with shisha in exotic flavors.
It is definitely one of the most sought after lounges in Dubai.
Its intimate setting helps you spend some quality time with your family and friends, and the food, even though served in small portions, is better than most lounges in the city.
The Boulevard Kitchen is a great spot for breakfast.
It is also a contender for one of the most relaxed destinations in downtown.
The restaurant is set over two floors, with views of Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard and the open kitchen and serves food greatly based on Levantine cuisine.
For great deals on rooms and added benefits, log on to their website and check out the latest offers.
Make sure you try out the venues when you are in town next, whether or not you choose to stay there.
For larger families and those who prefer the standard definition of luxury and beyond, this may not suffice.
For singles and couples, Manzil can definitely be on your list this year.
