Published in The Saudi Gazette on 26 - 12 - 2011

Alarmed by the rushing pursuit of defending champion Ekis and aware of the distance of league leader Micah's Pride, Pin Slasher unleashed two solid games to be the back-to-back team of the week to inch to the front-runner at the end of the 11th and 12th weeks of the Filipino Expatriate Damayan Bowling Group Friday Morning Bowling League 11th conference at the Bowling City here.
Against New Alignment of Bobby Baraquel to whom Pin Slasher offered bleak week 11, team captain Roger Daquioag and co-captain May Lourdes combined their brilliance to pilot teammates to Bowler of the Week honor. Daquoag scratched 667 on line with his early explosion of 244 followed by 201 and 222. His average of 222.33 was backed up by Lourdes on a scratch series of 623 built from 238, 182, 203 enabling the humble lady class A to maximize her handicap and set new handicapped series record at 704. Balance shares of 598, 569, 524 and 503 from Jay Bengco, Tito Cruz, Edu Toledo and Pancho Cuevas completed Pin Slasher conquest of New Alignment to be compelled of signing a 18-2 (3,565-3,356) final tallies. Archie Santos defended New Alignment with 644 on his games of 206, 220 and 218 which primarily cause the blank evasion.
Pin Slasher scored perfect 20 points at the expense of defending champion Ernie Geslani-captained Ekis in the 12th week. With Aileen Miralbuna topping the board at 627, Pin Slasher made its victory more prolific on team of the week score of 3,612. From 32-point take home last week it perfected it to 34 points as Ekis embraced empty sheet on total of 3,210. Pin Slasher emerged successful thanks to TC Daquioag's 604, team manager Dariel Loquoas' 605, Lourdes' 607, Bengco's 592 and Toledo's 577. Ruben Gri?o who totaled 568 was the best defender of Ekis.
Sharing limelight with Pin Slasher team were Ronie de Castro and Minda Guevara who were named Bowlers of the week for their respective excellent totals of 685 and 640. De Castro bested Micah's Pride's blanking of New Alignment signed at 3,473-3,282. Guevara led Pin Rockers with 205, 227 and 208 against undermanned Royal Strikers of Jun Estefano (3,506-3,085).
