Carmelo Anthony paced the Knicks with 28 points while rookie Kristaps Porzingis posted his 10th double-double this season with 19 points and 10 rebounds as the New York Knicks beat the Brooklyn Nets 108-91 Friday.
Center Brook Lopez led the Nets with 21 points and forward Thaddeus Young added 18 points, while forward Joe Johnson was ejected from the game with 8:01 left for a flagrant foul on Knicks guard Jose Calderon.
Wizards 109, Suns 106: Guard Bradley Beal scored a season-high 34 points as the Washington Wizards fought back in the second half for a 109-106 victory over the Phoenix.
Guard John Wall had 17 points and nine assists for the Wizards (8-9), who trailed nearly the entire game until pulling ahead with a late 10-3 run.
Forward Otto Porter's three-point play put the Wizards up 104-103 with 1:42 remaining.
Guard Eric Bledsoe scored 22 points and guard Brandon Knight had 19 for the Suns.
Pistons 102, Bucks 95: Marcus Morris and Reggie Jackson scored 23 points apiece and center Andre Drummond delivered 17 points and 23 rebounds as the Detroit Pistons beat the Milwaukee Bucks.
Morris added four rebounds and three assists while Jackson had five assists for the Pistons. Ersan Ilyasova added 13 points and eight rebounds against his former team.
Small forward Khris Middleton's 21 points led the Bucks, while former Pistons center Greg Monroe chipped in with 14 points and 13 rebounds in his first game in Detroit since joining Milwaukee during the off-season.
Hawks 100, Lakers 87: Center Al Horford scored 16 points to lead five double-figure scorers as Atlanta took a 19-point lead in the second quarter and then held off a Lakers rally for 100-87 victory.
Forward Kobe Bryant, who scored 31 points on Wednesday at Washington to help the Lakers snap a seven-game losing streak, scored 14 points while shooting only 4-for-19.
Rockets 100, Mavericks 96: Guard James Harden scored 25 points, including a step-back jumper with 7.4 seconds to go, to lead the Houston Rockets to a 100-96 win against the Dallas Mavericks.
Harden bounced back from a 3-for-12 shooting first-half with 11 points in the third quarter, plus two huge baskets and a terrific assist in crunch time.
He finished with nine assists and eight rebounds in a game that Houston played without center Dwight Howard, who was rested.
Dallas guard Deron Williams led the Mavs with 22 points and six assists while forward Dirk Nowitzki had 16 points, 10 rebounds and four assists.
Pelicans 114, Cavaliers 108 (OT): Forward Anthony Davis shook off an injury to his lower left leg to score 31 points, including six in overtime, to lift the New Orleans Pelicans to a 114-108 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Davis added 12 rebounds and four steals as the Pelicans (5-15) snapped a four-game losing streak and recorded their fifth consecutive home victory over the Cavaliers (13-6), who dropped their second straight.
The Pelicans survived in overtime after the Cavaliers erased an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter. LeBron James exploded for 23 of his game-high 37 points in the fourth quarter, including a go-ahead scoop layup around Davis with 30.5 seconds left. — Reuters
