Jumeirah Group planning to open branches in KSA
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 29 - 11 - 2015

JUMEIRAH Group is planning to open branches in five major cities in the Kingdom. These are Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Madinah, and Makkah, Vice President, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Piers Schreiber revealed during the 2015 GCC Road Show.
For the group, the Saudi market is a crucial target because around 6.1 percent of Jumeirah's guests around the world are Saudis. According to Jumeirah Group's statistics, there has been an increase of 30 percent in the Saudi guest hotel nights, compared to the same period last year.
Statistics also revealed 27.4 percent of the hotels guest are from the Gulf area annually, with Jumeirah Hotels in United Arab Emirates has the largest share.
Schreiber said, that the group will officially add a new hotel to the group, by 2016. The hotel name will be, ‘Jumeirah Al Naseem'.
The first day of annual GCC Road Show was held in Park Hayat, Jeddah, on Nov. 22. Caribbean Cruise and Emirate Airlines participated in the event. Caribbean Cruise announced that the company will start a new cruise trip in the Gulf area in December.
During the show, employees from around 23 luxury hotels, resorts, and residences in 12 countries, introduced their services and offers, as well as, what differentiates them in the market.
Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah in Istanbul, is a remarkable place because many historical public figures and celebrities have stayed in it. Currently guests can use those people rooms, which are named after them. The hotel is an old heritage building in a lively area in the heart of the city.
Jumeirah At Etihad Towers has a strategic location, too. It is part of Corniche Abu Dhabi. It has several international restaurants and a private beach.
In the Maldives there are two Jumeirah hotels and both of them provide many adventure and entertainment activities to their guests including treasure hunt — a game where people try to find treasure in the island and try to solve the mystery.
During the summer most of Frankfort Jumeirah hotel residents are from the Gulf area and the same is the case London; while, during Eid seasons, the group's properties in Dubai, London, Istanbul and the Maldives are counted among the top holiday destinations.
The show was held from Nov. 22 to 25 in four Gulf Cities, Jeddah, Riyadh, Kuwait, and Doha.
