ARM United, Hyderabad Sharks pull off upsets

JEDDAH — ARM United, Hyderabad Sharks, MCH Premier, Saudi German Hospital, ALS Warriors and Pepsi Deccan Knights recorded victories in the 9th week matches of the Ace Initial Saudi Premier League T20, organized by Jeddah Cricket Associaition (JCA).
This event is jointly sponsored by Ace Travel & Tours and Initial Services Group. It is also supported by ALS Borderless Logistics, Jotun Saudi Arabia, Khind Electronics, Mizo Juices (Arrow Foods), SIPCO (Pepsi) and UT Lines.
ARM stunned My Care Blazers in a thriller.
My Care Blazers posted 136-9. Shad Mohammed scored 32, while Saadique Merchant and Sami Khan took 3 wickets each giving away 27 and 24 runs, respectively. Atta chipped in with 2 wickets. In reply, ARM United was made to struggle before reaching the target in 18.2 overs losing 9 wickets. Ather Ali scored 39. Faisal took 3-33. Man of the Match: Ather Ali.
Hyderabad Sharks upset Pak Green by 23 runs. Hyderabad Sharks scored 210-8 with Ayaz Ali scoring a stylish 65, Zafar 47 and Parvez 29. Asim took 2-41. Pak Green stumbled in its chase and was all out for 187 in 15.5 overs. Asim top scored with 65 and Yasir Adnan hit 49. For Hyderabad Sharks, Parvez shone with the ball as well taking 5-47. Man of the Match: Parvez.
ALS Warriors demolished Kashmir Stags by 146 runs. ALS Warriors put on 244-8. Talha made 63, Amjad Jatt 33, M. Khan 45 and Shahbaz 44. For Kashmir Stags, Zubair took 3-32, while Nihad and Danish took 2 wickets each. In reply, Kashmir Stags was bowled out for 98 in 16 overs. Danish scored 31. Amjad Jatt took 6-16 (best bowling figures in the league so far) and Shahbaz 3-31. Man of the Match: Amajd Jatt.
My Care Hala Premier routed MB Stars by 199 runs. MCH Premier put on a mammoth total of 289-5. Kashif Shafiq notched his third century of the league scoring 150 in 63 balls with 12 sixes and 14 fours. Qamar Awan scored 60 in 30 balls. Moazzam claimed 2-49. In reply, MB Stars was bowled out for 90 with Ateeq scoring 30. Osman bagged 4-22, while Imran and Tayyab took 2 wickets each. Man of the Match: Kashif Shafiq.
Pepsi Deccan Knights thrashed ICAD by 9 wickets. ICAD was bowled out for 172. Shakeel made the most with 58, while Munawwar and Mohsin hit 44 and 33, respectively. Abdul Quddus took 4-20 and Ayaz 2-31. Pepsi Deccan Knights reached the target losing only 1 wicket in 14.3 overs. Captain Abdul Quddus once again shone with the bat, hitting his second century of the league and along with Wajid Samdani put on 162 for the second wicket. Both remained not out on 100 and 45, respectively. Man of the Match: Abdul Quddus.
Saudi German Hospital outclassed Saudi Oil by 6 wickets. Saudi Oil Company tallied 151-9 through Rameez (48) and Mazhar (43). Irfan grabbed 4-31 and Omar 2-26. Saudi German Hospital chased the target in 15.3 overs losing only 4 wickets. Waqas remained unbeaten on 66 and Izhar scored 49. Rameez took 2-14. Man of the Match: Waqas.
