SsangYong introduces first compact SUV model
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 14 - 11 - 2015

National Auto, part of the Al Ghandi Auto Group revealed the latest Korean compact SUV - the SsangYong Tivoli at the 2015 Dubai International Motor Show, the largest automotive event across the Middle East and North Africa. The Tivoli is SsangYong's first compact SUV model. The Korean carmaker SsangYong believes vehicle buyers are increasingly favoring an SUV because of the combination of performance, fuel economy and practicality.
The compact SUV is expected to become a game-changer in its segment with a compelling combination of contemporary style, exceptional safety features with seven air bags, state-of-the-art technology, practicality and remarkable value.
The makers of the Tivoli have once again proved that Korean innovation is hard to beat. Equipped for the most ardent gadget-lover, the Tivoli is a "smart car" like no other in its category – the 7.0in screen is a visual delight, fitted as standard on EX and ELX trims and features crisp, high-resolution graphics giving the driver the option of connecting their phone via Bluetooth, aux or USB to stream the latest tunes to the six-speaker stereo. For those worried about keeping their phone juiced up, there are two 12V power sockets just in front of the gear lever. Above them you'll find USB and HDMI sockets. Additional features include a six-sensor obstacle detection system, luggage screen, automatic washer switch, and hazard lights that automatically activate under hard braking.
Graham Roy Eric Turner, CEO of Al Ghandi Auto Group, is optimistic about the future of the Tivoli, particularly with sales uptrends in the demand for quality compact SUVs. "We, at Al Ghandi Auto Group, represent a number of internationally renowned manufacturers, all of whom share our vision of providing customers with unrivalled services, guaranteed satisfaction and world-class products. We are honored to be long term partners with SsangYong Motors, a brand that has a rich motoring heritage stretching back for more than 50 years to the early 1960s, and today, in 2015's Dubai International Motor Show, we are thrilled to be the ones introducing their latest model, the exciting new SsangYong Tivoli," said Turner.
The trendy Tivoli comes in eight eye-catching colors along with five two-tone body and roof color combinations – this cutting edge aesthetic exudes dynamism, robustness and modern luxury. Engineered to exceed all expectations, the Tivoli's cabin design claims to follow a theme of compact style by creating a smart and practical space where occupants can experience the cabins comfort and practicality. In fact, the Tivoli is the only vehicle in its segment with enough cargo space to accommodate three golf bags. Ultimately, the SsangYong Tivoli provides a level of attention to detail and driving experience usually found only in luxury vehicles with a much higher price tag. Make a statement on the road with the SsangYong Tivoli, the car that you can personalize to suit your lifestyle.
