MADINAH — The SCC T20 Tournament saw thrilling matches here last week. The event is being played under the patronage of Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC) and organized by Madinah Cricket Association (MCA). The first encounter saw Sarendeb Sports take on Saudi Oger. Batting first, Sarendeb Sports scored 135 in 20 over. Murshid scored 59 runs with the help of five boundaries and two sixes. Yasir added 21 and Sabri 16. Saudi Oger achieved the target for the loss of two wickets. Haroon contributed 60 and Aftab 33 not out. Shining Stars beat Pak Madinah by 25 runs. Shining Stars won the toss and elected to bat. In 20 overs it posted 170. Adnan scored 33 and Wajid 20 along with 31 extras. Hammad scalped four wickets and Omer three. Pak Madinah was bundled out for 145. Owais scored 33, Mushtaq 28, and Sohail 21. Yasir took three wickets and Ramzan two. Hasnain XI downed Pepsi Madinah by 27 runs. Opting to bat first, Hasnain XI scored 133 with contribution from Omer (50) and Khalid (41). Mohammed Asif claimed five wickets. His team, however, lost the game as Pepsi Madinah was left stranded at 106. Danish hit 32, Nafees 26, Ali 25 and Arif 22. — SG
