Published in The Saudi Gazette on 10 - 11 - 2015

Dallas' Walker Zimmerman forced extra time with a stoppage-time goal and scored the clinching penalty in the shootout to give the Texan club victory over Seattle Sunday and a place in Major League Soccer's Western Conference finals.
Dallas won 4-2 in the shootout after three lead-changing goals in the final 10 minutes of regulation time and then 30 scoreless minutes of extra time. Both teams won their home leg 2-1.
Dallas advanced to West finals series against Portland, which won 2-0 at Vancouver after a goalless first leg. The Timbers took an iron grip on the series with a first-half away goal.
New York Red Bulls also advanced to the last four of the playoffs following a 1-0 home win against D.C. United which secured a 2-0 aggregate victory over the two legs.
New York's opponent in the East decider will be Columbus, which needed extra time to beat Montreal.
Seattle tried to defend its lead from the home leg, and retained that advantage until Tesho Akindele broke through in the 84th, heading home Je-Vaughn Watson's cross to put Dallas ahead on away goals.
The Sounders equalized on the night and went back ahead on aggregate when Chad Marshall headed in Marco Pappa's corner in the 90th.
Less than a minute later, Zimmerman nodded in a turnaround header which sent the game to extra time.
Portland's Fanendo Adi scored the critical away goal in the 31st minute and the Timbers went on to win 2-0 at Vancouver, taking an aggregate victory by the same score.
Adi's goal was set-up by Diego Valeri, and Diego Chara capped the win in second-half stoppage time, sending Portland to the West finals for the second time in franchise history.
New York's Bradley Wright-Phillips scored 2 minutes into second-half stoppage time to clinch a place in the Eastern Conference finals against Columbus.
The Red Bulls, who won the first leg of the two-game series 1-0 last week in Washington, held on against a United team that had opportunities to score and level the series on aggregate.
It was the second straight year that the Red Bulls have eliminated Washington at the conference semifinal stage.
Columbus 2-1 after the first leg in Montreal, but matched that scoreline at home, and Kei Kamara scored his second goal of the game in extra time to win it.
Kamara opened the scoring in the fourth minute, and Montreal's Dilly Duka equalized in the 40th.
Columbus' Ethan Finlay scored in the 77th to make it 2-1 on the night and 3-3 on aggregate, sending the match to extra time, and Kamara came up with the winner in the 111th minute. — AP
