Bowlers on top in JCA ACE-Initial SPL

JEDDAH — Bowlers helped lift their sides as My Care Hala Premier, Pepsi Deccan Knights, Pak Green, MB Stars, My Care Blazers, ALS Warriors came out on top in the 8th week matches of ACE & Initial Saudi Premier League T-20.
The event is being jointly sponsored by Ace Travel & Tours and Initial Services Group and co-sponsored by ALS Borderless Logistics, Jotun Saudi Arabia, Khind Electronics, Mizo Juices (Arrow Foods), SIPCO (Pepsi) and UT Lines. It is being organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).
My Care Hala Premier beat Saudi German Hospital by 123 runs. MCH Premier, put into bat, scored 205 for 8. Qamar top scored with 50. Kashif Shafiq added 40 and Shahbaz Rasheed 35. Waqas took 3-27 and Huzaifa 2-38. Needing 206 runs to win, Saudi German Hospital was bundled out for 82 in 14.3 overs. Imran claimed 3-22, while Jamil and Shahbaz took 2 wickets each for 7 and 9, respectively. Man of the Match: Imran.
Pepsi Deccan Knights downed Hyderabad Sharks by 74 runs. Pepsi Deccan Knights, taking the strike first, scored 204 for 6. Sohail Bin Halais remained not out on 51 and Ayaz added 43. Parvez took 3-29. Hyderabad Sharks was all out for 130 in 14.5 overs. Ayaz (42) and Urooj (35) were the main contributors. Farooq Basha took the first hat trick of the SPL giving away 4 runs. Hyder, Abdul Quddus and Ayaz claimed 2 wickets each. Man of the Match: Sohail.
Pak Green thrashed ACE Travel by 108 runs. Pak Green posted 259 for 7 with Shan scoring 53, Asim Ashfaq 50, Amer Wahlah 41 and Asim Gujjar 42. Faheem Pasha took 5-52. ACE Travel, in reply, was bowled out for 151 in 14.4 overs. Amir Shahzad hit 32. Adnan scalped 4-32 and Osman Sayeed 3-42. Man of the Match: Asim Ashfaq.
My Care Blazers thumped Kashmir Stags by 7 wickets. Kashmir Stags put on 180. Naeem was the top scorer with 50 and Majid added 34. Chintaka took 3-33, Faisal 2-29 and Adnan Khan 2-30. My Care Blazers was home (181) in 14 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Adnan Khan remained unbeaten on 59 and Fahad contributed 28. Majid bagged 2-44. Man of the Match: Adnan Khan.
MB Stars humbled Saudi Oil Company by 7 wickets. Saudi Oil Company was bowled out for 111 in 16.2. Shafiq was the top scorer with 47 not out. Zia Anwar claimed 5-18 and Yasir 2-22. MB Stars chased down the target in 12 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Mouzzam Virk blasted 59. Ashiq took 2-25. Man of the Match: Zia Anwar.
ALS Warriors beat ICAD by 57 runs. Choosing to bat first, ALS Warriors scored 239-7 as Ramzan hit 80 and Amjad Jatt 50. Shakeel took 3-43 and Waqas Khan 2-30. ICAD was bundled out for 182 in 18.2 overs. Munawar made 63, while Shakeel and Waqar added 37 each. Amjad Jatt and Fahad took 3 wickets each for 25 and 28, respectively. Man of the Match: Amjad Jatt.
