Abana and Pheonix post big wins

RIYADH — Abana and Pheonix registered big wins in the American Express T20 Tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by American Express.
Al-Kharaj League
Lahore Lions lost to Shuraim by 57 runs. Batting first, Shuraim scored 203-6. Vicky smashed a brilliant century (107). Sami batted well for 42. Muzaffar took 4 wickets. Lahore Lions were all out for 146 in the 17th over. Owais top scored with 37. Hassan, Mudassir and Shahnawaz took 2 wickets each.
Pak Shaheen defeated Riyadh Aces by 6 wickets. Riyadh Aces posted 151-8. Aziz took 3 wickets and Ateeq 2. Pak Shaheen chased down the target in the 17th over. Ishaq's outstanding 94 proved to be the difference between the teams.
CKK humbled Lahore Badshah by 6 wickets. Lahore Badshah scored a below par 148. Omer and Obaid took 3 wickets each and Ali got 2. CKK got to the target in 14.5 overs. Najeeb (70) and Kashif (50) smashed fifties to ensure an easy win.
Diriyah League
Pheonix thrashed Professionals Creation by 5 wickets. Professionals Creation was all out for 140. Nithia scored 34 and Hashim 25. Asif and Antar bowled exceptionally well and picked up 5 and 4 wickets, respectively. Phoenix reached the target in 14.3 overs. Noman (47) and Furqan (35) batted well. Vimal claimed 3 wickets and Fenil 2.
Naz thrashed Saudi Zaas by 8 wickets. Saudi Zaas piled up 163. Naz chased down the target in 16.2 overs. Fiaz (62) and Atif (46) took the team to finish line.
Abana downed Seham by 66 runs. Abana amassed 223 in its allotted 20 overs. Abu Baker smashed a brilliant 60, Shahbaz 41 and Adnan 40. Tahir took 3 wickets and Naveed 2. Seham was all out for 157. Nasir put up some fight with 71. Abid grabbed 3 wickets. Abu Baker, Adnan and Shahid took 2 wickets each.
Nouman Gymkhana lost to Riyadh Fighters PPF by 8 runs. Batting first, Riyadh Fighters PPF scored 156 through Umair (27) and Badar (24).
Mubasher bowled well to grab 4 wickets. Shahzad took 3. Nouman Gymkhana fumbled to just 148. Amjad (50) and Izhar (45) were the main scorers. Qari Salman (4 wickets), Aamir (3) and Umair (2) did the job for Riyadh Fighters.
