Lacson and Umlas contributed 29 and 26 points, respectively for the loser. In Friday games, Khalidia Tambayz of coach Ronnie Carino defeated Tropang Bakhs 108-87. The winner displayed good outside shooting. Garcia topscored with 35 points for the winner and was adjudged JBL best player of the game. Duds Ballinan led the loser with 19 points. Avengers defeated Knights 89-82 in Group B. Randy scored 26 points for the winner and was named PEAK Sodas Sports best player of the game. David top-scored with 27 points for the loser. Manila Zago of Loue bounced back from Thursday defeat and beat Magma Bloods 86-81. The winner applied tough defense in the final quarter.
