STC launches Diamond & Gold classes of Qitaf
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 20 - 11 - 2011

The Saudi Telecom Company (STC) launched the Diamond and Gold categories of STC's Qitaf Program which allows all of Qitaf customers (Jawal, Hatif, and Broadband) more distinction by offering them additional and exclusive features and special and unique benefits to them only.
Qitaf is unique from other programs due to a key feature that allows customers to transfer points from one customer to another.
Using this feature, the customer can give points to another to make use of the services provided by STC or redeem the points with services or products from other Qitaf partners strategically located across the Kingdom. Customers wishing to enroll in Qitaf send 1818 to 902 or call the Customer Care Center 907 or visit the Khadamati Portal.
Customers should send 1666 to 902 in subscribing to electronic vouchers of the Qitaf program.
Eng. Mazyad Nassir Alharbi, Vice President for homes services at STC, said in a press conference organized by STC at its HQ in Riyadh, that “the Diamond and Gold categories of the Qitaf program define a new concept of exclusivity and distinction. These categories have been designed especially for the elite Qitaf customers giving them the opportunity to enjoy a world of special benefits and exclusive features both locally and internally.”
The total Qitaf points accrued determine the category in which the customer is placed whether Diamond or Gold, he said, adding that “membership into these new categories are renewed annually based on the customer maintaining his current status and highlighting the fact that Qitaf customers are notified of their categories through SMS or via their private email.”
Alharbi further said the new Qitaf categories feature many benefits giving Qitaf customers many services and exclusive benefits including a special call center giving customers priority when calling the Customer Care Center, Qitaf Islamic credit card (Platinum) for free from NCB for Qitaf Platinum customers, Islamic credit card (Gold) for free from NCB for Qitaf Gold customers, in addition to enjoying the high level of point redemption (locally and internationally, a special redemption booklet, in addition to 1 point for every SR 10 for the Platinum category, and 0.5 points for the Gold category.
The Platinum and Gold category comes as part of Qitaf's keen interest to take care of its customers and meet their desires as well as giving them more value, he added.
The program offers unprecedented features that achieve their aspirations and provide them with the best services and local and internationally famous products.
