A number of senior consultant doctors started answering Haj-related health questions from pilgrims Saturday. The service is being provided by the Ministry of Health via the toll-free number 8002494444. It is entitled, “The health of pilgrims is our concern” and is now in its seventh year. The center hosted Dr. Munira Baraja, Consultant in Family and Community Medicine at the National Guard Hospital and Dr. Anwar Faqiha, Consultant in Gynecology and Obstetrics, Saturday. On Monday, Dr. Nisreen Al-Shirbini, Consultant in infectious diseases and fevers at the Military Hospital, will be available to answer questions related to epidemic and infectious diseases. She will also offer other advice and guidance that pilgrims can use to protect themselves and tackle any emergencies. On Tuesday, from 10 A.M. to 12 noon, the center will host Dr. Safiya Al-Shirbini, Consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes at King Fahd Medical City. On Wednesday, from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M., the center will host Dr. Nasser Al-Dowsari, Consultant and Head of the Digestive System and Hepatology Department at King Saud Medical Complex in Riyadh. Amal Kinanah, Consultative Curative Nutritionist, will be available from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. on Saturday Oct. 29. On Sunday Oct. 30, from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M., Dr. Muheeb Al-Abdullah, Consultant Cardiologist and Cardio-surgeon, will inform pilgrims and the elderly whether they can perform Haj. __
