A Beirut court has released the verdict of the lawsuit filed by Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi against the Lebanese magazine “Al Hadeel” in the magazine's favor. Haifa had accused the chief editor of the magazine of publishing false rumors about her in the 73 edition released in 2009. Haifa lost the lawsuit and was forced to pay all the court fees and violations accumulated as a result of the lawsuit. On a different note, Haifa is currently holding extensive work sessions with producer and director Majdi Al Hiwari and scenarist Mustafa Muharam to finalize the details of the new Egyptian television drama “Mawlid Wa Sahbuh Ghayeb”, which Haifa will play the leading role in. The drama will also star prominent Egyptian actress Sofia Al Omari, folksinger Ahmad Idawieh, actress Ola Ghanem, Mohammad Lutfi, Hassan Husni, Izzat Abu Oaf and Hiba Majdi.
