Defending champion Al-Hilal routed its visitor Al-Ahli 4-0 in a Round Four encounter of the Zain Saudi Professional League at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh Thursday. South Korean striker, Yoo Byung-soo of Hilal put his team ahead in the 22nd minute before midfielder Ahmed Al-Furaidy doubled the score three minutes later. A third goal for the host team came a minute after the break through midfielder Mohammed Al-Shalhoub. Defender Osama Hawsawi sealed his team's win in the 69th minute. The match was attended by 22,844 spectators – the highest number of fans to witness a match so far. With a one-goal difference, the victory moved Hilal up to the third place with nine points while the defeat pulled Ahli from the top down to the fourth place with nine points. In another encounter, Al-Shabab won 2-1 over host Al-Ra'id at King Abdullah Sports City in Buraidah. Ra'id defender, Yahiya Musallam put his team in the lead in the 17th minute and defender Hasan Mo'ath of Shabab leveled the score six minutes before the break. However, midfielder Tameem Al-Dousari of Shabab scored the winner five minutes before time. With this win, Shabab tops the standings again with 12 points after winning the previous four encounters while Ra'id remains 12th with a sole point. At Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam, Al-Ittifaq shared the points with a goalless draw against its visitor Haj. The draw put Ittifaq second with ten points. It also pushed Haj up the standings to the sixth place with four points.
