Itqan Eagles and Quejada win FBGR-Almarai awards

Itqan Eagles team keglers and the prolific Lulu Quejada displayed separate sterling performances to bag the Team and the Bowler of the Week awards, respectively, on the 26th week of the Almarai Saturday Bowling League, 10th Conference here.
Itqan Eagles, mentored by Beybs Serafico, and comprising Manny Lebrilla, Johnny Penicilla Beybs, Ruel Toledo and Jonathan Tabago rolled past Boiling Point 20–9 to claim the week's Team award. Lebrilla hit 892 points to lead the Itqan Eagles, while the duo of Penicilla and Beybs posted series of 870 and 832, respectively. Toledo and Tabago impressed by contributing series of 810 and 765.
Posting the best score for the Boiling Point squad was Ray Rivera with a series of 817 in four games. Dennis Gabriel had 799, Noel Ordonez 787 and Arnold Quindara 780. Victor Edan and Edu Quizon scored 418 and 382 series in two games.
Itqan Aces nipped Alinma 18-13. Leading scorer for Itqan Aces was Joe Garrido with 855 points, followed by Sultan Alawi (844), Ellen Bernabe (834) and Stephen Solomon (763). Ace Ernee Noto and Celis Viloria had 431 and 365 series in two games, respectively. Jess Ambon led Alinma by posting a series of 828 in four games. Bernie Torres and Jojo de Silva collected 795 and 782 points to follow Ambon. Jerry Barce pocketed 616 points, while Ahmed Abdulrahman rolled 613 points. Roberto Mata sealed 394 points.
The outstanding performances of Lulu Quejada helped Itqan Bees to dismantle Fab & Cool. Quejada posted a four-game series of 961 to win the bowler award. Jun Bantug seared the lanes to score 819 points.
Ruben Arinuelo shot 803 series in four games for Alinma. Susie Rivera and Mhay Elias registered series of 799 and 774, while Gayner Elias and graceful Lou Tugonon shared 690 and 521 points in order.
In other results: SABB Advance walloped Meron Na! 15-12; Almarai beat Bowling Buddies 20-6; Eraserheads edged Alsalam Strike Force 16-12; Royal Archers–Reloaded thrashed Nadec Strokers; and FBGR Selection beat MV Mixers 13-7.
The league is sponsored by Almarai Company and the games are played at the Universal Bowling Center (UBC).
