Published in The Saudi Gazette on 21 - 05 - 2011

JEDDAH: The new Suzuki Alto underlined its success in Saudi Arabia following the recent steady growth in demand for the car particularly in the restaurant sector, which is leveraging the fuel economy, vehicle's expenses throughout its usage period, its competitive cost as well as its performance which exceeded expectations.
Recently, a major restaurant group and fast food chain purchased a fleet of Suzuki Alto cars to boost its home delivery service.
Maher Al Nabawi, Deputy General Manager, Suzuki Saudia, said "Suzuki Alto has a proven track record of success, and reflects the great attention shown by the parent company Suzuki on this model. Suzuki has always conducted extensive market research and analysis on all its models, including the Alto, to ensure that the highest standards of safety and quality are met. Suzuki Alto, with its sleek design, reliable performance, and high levels of safety, provides an extremely fuel efficient vehicle, in addition to offering a trustworthy sample of cars to companies and limited income individuals."
Moreover, Al Nabawi added "Alto's client portfolio includes several leading private companies and government entities including Saudi Post and the Ministry of Health, as well as a large number of individual buyers who make up a major share of Suzuki's sales in the Kingdom. In this regard, Suzuki Saudia is focused on increasing sales by implementing our plans aimed at attracting all target customers in addition to strengthening our leading position within the automotive sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."
The Alto benefits from a "K Series" engine which was manufactured by Suzuki Maruti, to reduce engine weight and friction while pumping out more mileage and power from each drop of fuel. Apart from offering fuel efficiency, optimum performance and easy maintenance, the Suzuki Alto offers top class security and safety features such as double airbags, anti-theft programmed key, which prevents duplication unless done through Suzuki Saudia outlets. The car is also equipped with self-locking doors to provide maximum protection to children.
