10 ambulance drivers and a number of maintenance workers and security guards at Sabt Al-Alaya Hospital went on strike protesting late payment of their wages by the hospital's contractor company. Workers allege that they have not been paid for 4 to 10 months. The striking workers had previously sent a letter to the company's director warning him they would stop work if dues were not paid to them forthwith.
