Hilal blanks Qadisiyah; Shabab holds Ittihad

JEDDAH: Champion of the Zain Saudi Professional League Al-Hilal edged host, ten-man Al-Qadisiyah 2-0, in a round-25 match of the competition at Prince Saudi Bin Jalawi Sports City Stadium in Al-Khobar.
Striker Eisa Al-Mohayani put Hilal in the lead in the 37th minute and midfielder Abdul Aziz Al-Dousari sealed the win with three minutes before time. Qadisiyah midfielder Talal Al-Khaibari was shown a red card a minute before the break.
Having secured the title, the unbeaten Hilal has collected 61 points while Qadisiyah slipped one spot down the standings to the 13th position on 23 points. Qadisiyah is now in danger of being relegated.
Elsewhere, Al-Ittihad shared two goals with host Al-Shabab at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh.
Skipper Mohammed Noor put Ittihad in the lead from the spot in the sixth minute and Shabab striker leveled the score in the 32nd minute.
Ittihad remains second on the list with 48 points while Shabab is fourth on 43 points.
At Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium, Al-Ahli defeated visitor Al-Wehdah 3-2 .
Brazilian striker, Victor Simoes put the Greens in the lead six minutes before the break before midfielder Marcinho Da Silva increased the lead in the 55th minute. Two minutes later, Wehdah midfielder Mukhtar Fallata increased the margin. However, striker Mohanned Aseeri of the Reds struck in the 65th minute, but Ahli skipper Mohammed Musa'ad scored the winner two minutes later. Simoes was sent off in the 73rd minute.
Ahli moved up to the seventh place with 34 points while Wehdah dropped down to the 12th position on 23 points.
At Al-Okhdoud Club Stadium, Najran escaped being at bottom after winning 2-1 over visitor Al-Fateh.
Depa Along and Al-Hassan Al-Yami scored for Najran while Elton Jose gave Fateh the only goal. Najran is now 11th on the list with 25 points while Fateh is tenth on 28 points.
In other matches, Al-Nasr defeated Al-Hazm 2-1 while Al-Ittifaq won 1-0 over Al
