General Director of Promotion of Virtue & Prevention of Vice Commission Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Shaikh has appealed Their Eminence the judges to apply more strict punitive provisions / sentences on the criminals who blackmail the women as this represents a public right which protect the said women from their evil and harmfulness and restrict their encroachments to Muslims legislative rights and privacy. "The current sentences issued in regard to the blackmailers are weak," he has added. This appeal has been declared through the press conference he has held for exposing some blackmailing cases that have occurred during the past days where he requested applying very strict punishment on these criminals. "I warn all people of evil intentions who commit such crime that they are going to find their names in all newspapers in the Kingdom as the journalists will be joining the Commission staff in fighting this crime. "During the next stage, we shall be obliged to publish their photographs as he who has forewarned shall be excused in this regard." He listed many cases that have happened last week such as catching one of the military staff in Al-Riyadh City, Al-Rawda Neighborhood, who came to know a woman and has started blackmailing her. He has broke into her house by force and she had to run away to the house roof twice during one night where she has been about to throw herself from the top of the building. He has attacked her house once again at four A.M. where he has tried to break her house door. However, The woman has informed the Commission staffs before the third time of the blackmailer's arrival to her house where they have managed to catch him while he has been trying to break the house door.
