Labor Force Survey results during Shabaan, 1434 Hijri corresponding to June, 2013 have shown that the total labor force of the age category of "15 years old or older" in the Kingdom has become 11,361,770 persons which represent 54.0% of the total population of "15 years old or older" of which 9,599,606 are males. General Statistics & Information Department has declared in its bulletin about the survey that the total number of the workers as per survey results is 10,729,123 persons which represents 94,4 of the total labor force of which the males represent 87.0%. The unemployed have reached the number of 632,647 persons of which the males represent 42,3% while the total unemployment rate has reached the percentage of 5.6%. The results have shown, as well, that the labor force in the Kingdom has become 5,339,660 persons of which 4,251,024 persons are males who represent a percentage of 79.6%. The total number of the Saudi workers has reached the level of 4,717,127 persons who represent 88.3% of the labor force. Among these, 3,989,632 persons are males who represent 84.6% while the number of unemployed Saudi citizens has become 622,553 persons who represent 11.7% of labor force & of which 261,392 persons are males.
