The 29th Janadriyah National Festival for Heritage and Culture will be inaugurated on Thursday to welcome visitors until 28 Rabi' II, 1435. The United Arab Emirates will be the guest of the festival for this year. During 28 years of the festival, the Ministry of National Guard has provided the most beautiful heritage painting on an area of more than 2 million square meters, displaying the Kingdom's heritage, culture history and civilization since its unification by the founder late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud until the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The cultural and heritage festival was launched in 1405 and continues every year to present a distinguished image of the Kingdom supported by Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of National Guard and Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the National Festival for Heritage and Culture. More than 300 intellectuals and educators from various countries around the world will take part in the festival. It is worth mentioning that the patronage of the festival stresses the utmost importance attached by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saudi to the process of linking contemporary cultural formation of the Saudi people with the great humanitarian inheritance which forms a large part of the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
