Muslim girls have been distributing flowers
Al-Riyadh Editorial

The poor coordination between the Muslim countries & their organizations led to varying reactions in regard to any incident related to our doctrine, our Messenger, God's Peace be upon him, or other issues like the Hijab (i.e. headscarf), in addition to the Phobia of Islam in the world where it has been shown in the worst form during the past years. The result is that those who consider that freedom of expression is a natural right transformed the issue to a deliberate provocation. The movie which is abusive to our honored messenger have led to a conflict field which witnessed various protests, murders, fires & strikes, in addition to wise objection forms represented by raising the issue through dialogue and asking for enacting a world charter which calls for respecting the religions and messengers to avoid irritating the nations through abusing their sanctities and feelings.
Through a civilized & unique style, few Muslim girls in Britain spread white flowers together with pieces of papers which include Prophetic traditions calling for love, peace & honoring parents. They have been distributing them on the non-Muslim pedestrians for introducing them to Messenger Mohammad's mission which call for Guidance to goodness, tolerance, love and helping people. Such behavior shall be met by a positive reaction in a conscious & influential society in the continent. The symbolism of flowers in the literature and culture of nations is impressive as tools for communication and intimate relationship, in addition to that handling such an effort by girls provides a good impression of that the woman is respectful due to her being the peaceful and less hostile human and affectionate mother along the history of humanity.
The other (negative) side is a protest performed by some Muslims in the Philippines where students of Poly Technique University in Manila have protested while being totally naked but with covered faces! This is contradictory to the principles and teachings of Islam which do not accept striptease. Such a behavior for attracting the attention and declaring the protest is repugnant by all Muslims as it is not compatible with modesty to which all male and female Muslims adhere.
Protests of the Muslim World varied between a country and another. Some people used violence as an equal reaction to the silly movie while others organized peaceful demonstrations. However, the behavior of London girls achieved the best influence due to its meaning and moral value. As much as we have people who are easily irritated and led to a counter action by any abuse to Islam; there are some people in the Western countries who chose to adopt challenge for provoking the Muslims. If the bad action is faced by dialogue, wise behavior & calling for clarifying the erroneous thinking and the absent reality; the possibility of convincing the other party and helping him to understand shall be more effective, especially for those who neither know the identity of Islam's mission nor how it spread and became a major international religion for the majority of continents and countries population.
Our tolerant religion, the Islam, prohibits us from responding in a way which abuses the messengers of the other two religions of monotheism and even punishes the person who does so. This instruction represents the peak of respect and loyalty from Islam and its Muslims. During its historical path, we witnessed how Islam maintained the monasteries, churches and whatever related to the sanctities and preserving human rights due to that the resources of its call and structure had been established on such rules. This is what should have been explained through extracting from the documented history. Collision should have been avoided as it will not change the laws and systems of these nations. Thus, we can win the round in a way that serves our tolerant religion and keeps the various and good relationships with others.
