Upon directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud imposing that all websites and links enabling their users to have access to the film offensive to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and to our true religion should be blocked, the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) has instructed local web hosting providers in the Kingdom to block this film off the internet users in the Kingdom. CITC has also sent a request to Google asking to veil all YouTube links containing the film. In case this request was not met, CITC will take the necessary action to block the entire YouTube website. CITC underscores the importance of continuing positive reaction by citizens and expatriates who should report of any electronic links giving access to the defaming film as this is considered a duty imposed by our true religion on every Muslim, necessitating the prevention of any blaspheming reports to our Prophet (PBUH) and to our true religion.
