Then What?
Published in Alriyadh on 18 - 07 - 2012

In pursue of yesterday's subject.
It's the subject of the most important Arab & Islamic country which nations have been subjected to various efforts over hundreds of years that led it to suffer tragic relationships, lack of stability & weak activity. However, it witnessed later an activity that exceeded most of the present monarchies as its conditions moved towards stability during its monarchy. That monarch era was terminated by a criminal act which was followed by blood shedding celebrations as if it had been an honorable national heroism. One of the ugliest endings was the way by which the life of its president Abdul Karim Kasem ended, in spite of that he wasn't the leading organizer of that bloody revolution as Abdul Salam Aref was the leader who organized it.
Abdul Karim Kasem was left dead close to the Radio Station for many hours like any fierce animal. His era witnessed many tragedies and severe conflict with the regime of Abdul Naser, in addition to the ugly abrasion or dragging practices, where the opponents used to be killed by dragging them alive by cars until death. Kasem was not the only one who was subjected to an ugly revenge as Al Mahdawi, who turned the dirty trials to comedy scenes which were satirical in appearance but painful in details and ends and who was the person who used the maximum amount of pullets when he participated in killing the royal family in the entrance of their royal palace, witnessed at the end of his life a very bad psychological condition that lead him to death.
Abdul Salam Aref ruled Iraq but his life had not ended in a normal way as he died due an airplane crash in which he was. There were many stories in this regard of which one narrated that the said accident was planned for getting rid of him. In spite of that his brother ruled Iraq after him; he was excelled shortly after that. Ruling authorities passed through a cool stage after that until it had been lit again by Saddam Hussein who sought to prove his nationalism through the unsuccessful mission of occupying Kuwait. His life had been terminated through a hard trial but he could find some people who sympathized with him, in spite of his bad history, through the means by which he was executed.
We know that the fall of Saddam Hussein had happened due to a very severe American invasion of strange purposes as the American forces had not withdrawn until they were quite sure that there was an internal rupture and hard splits that led many people to death. The distribution that has happened in Iraq was similar to the one that had happened in Lebanon. However, in spite of the cruelty of Lebanon incidents, the conditions of Iraq have become more difficult. Just imagine that when ten or twenty citizens are assassinated, no one publishes their story as if it is not worthy as such events are not published unless the number of victims exceeds fifty or a hundred victims.
What draws attention here is that the end looks like as if the purpose that pushed the United States towards the intervention was breaking up the unity of a homeland which was one of the most prominent Arab communities in his far past history and is one of its most rewarding ones in the present time due to its multiple development capabilities. However, development task has been impossible due to various conflicts conditions.
The funny aspect in this regard is that we used to hear many times that the United States is threatening Iran by destroying its nuclear capability but delivered Iraq to Iran at the end due to its sectarian and racial intervention reasons.
All of what has happened is a sample of many specimens that led many Arab communities towards fragmentation, civilization decline and economic downturn.
