Who resolves the case of providing residence and a job ?!
Published in Alriyadh on 19 - 08 - 2011

The thing that don't disappear from the minds of the middle class people and what it contains is the concern of residence and job, and despite that the country approved a lot of money, and that the applicants for the real estate loan funds reached according to some sources to three million applicants, the case requires a responsible understanding for the way that resolves those needs, and providing the money and lands and looking seriously to the rates of population increase then supervising the unseriousness in executing of all the country's authorities that are linked with this case and its absence from any tangible effort, which revealed that the qualification of those management are bellow the real level for the work mechanism that brings this project to existence with its qualifications.
Aramco and Sabek succeeded in providing the housings according to old plans for Aramco, which was followed now by Sabek, but we didn't find the big companies and the funds whose treasuries are filled with hundreds of millions such as communications, electricity, banks and others, we didn't see them adopting similar plans of Aramco's and Sabek's, and that is because they are only concerned with their current benefits, which is the problem of any authority that don't propose plans that are oriented towards the citizens and take some burden off them.
Jobs are another concern, where despite the promises and the regulations we find in each corner, starting from the cleaning man to the retired experts, and we reached to a threatening our society's safety when the citizen changed into a hostage for the contractor. We don't want to go far away when the members in the Trade Chamber threaten that any procedure that effects their businesses will cause them to migrate their money outside, which is applicable without any restraints, where if they found the alternative they wouldn't stay in their country, but they have a feeling that migrating the opposing money from the big financial forts to the developing markets, and them realizing that they are not facing any increase in taxes and strict rules of controlling the trading and financial policy, is the main obstacle and not recruiting employees, which is considered a natural right for them. But the failure of the Ministry of Trade and Ministry of Labor to apply the decisions gave the trader a change to escape from responsibility, and the bigger problem is that there are big companies that attempted to establish support companies that recruit the citizens but without any bindings to the labor rules, laws and regulations, and thus laying off came a right for the company without giving any reasons for laying off the employee.
With a loud voice, we say that the increase in unemployed people will threaten our national security when the doors are closed in front of an educated and trained youth class, and what happened of Arab revolutions, came from the accumulation of problems without resolving them. We are now in front of one choice only, either accepting pleasing hundreds or thousands of those rejecting recruiting, or accepting the justification of millions that are our force and guarantee of our security, and thus the case should not be left for the coincidences or the slow cooling of the solutions, because the decision makers that realize the crisis should resolve it and not leave it exposed to accumulation and then explosion. This is not concerned with traders only, but also the government authorities that showed a dangerous failure to create quick solutions.
