Smart houses saves 70% of electricity power in Saudi

Saudi started a study of the potential of applying and implementing standards and systems of smart houses that can save 70% of electricity power through the buildings in which integrate the systems of power usage, heat control, lighting, sound, work place, communications, internal network systems to provide management data and the central computer system wires, in addition to advanced communication systems to achieve the fastest communications with the outer world though the central computer system, where the smart houses systems are considered to be a way to massively reduce the bills of power by better control of consumption equipments and the continuity of performance effectiveness of the devices, which elongates the life span of the device as a result of its regular function and when needed only. It is also possible to control all devices from any place without adding special supplies or setting a timer, which makes all house devices working in a high quality and saved power.
The concluded data from the answers of a lot of individuals and company owners in the Middle East shows that there will be an acceptance of the residents in the region to the concept of smart houses. The results points also to that most architects expect a bright future regarding to the spread of the smart house idea in the region and the acceptance of the residents of it to catch up the advancement in America and Europe. The last two decades of the previous century experienced a lot of amazing development in information technology, personal laptops and digital devices, which facilitated the appearance of smart buildings idea in general and smart houses in specific.
The reports expect that the international market for the smart houses systems will reach 2.8 trillion dollars by the year 2015, and it also points that there will be 300 thousand buildings that use the systems and technology of the smart houses in the Gulf countries in 2016.
