The Ahsa Summer Tourism Festival 2011 that was organized by Ahsa municipality for this year in King Abdulla Environmental Park succeeded in the previous Shaaban month in creating 600 job opportunities for male and female youths. According to Sameer Al Mezhar, the Executive Manager of the festival, a large group of students enrolled to work in organizing the festival, in a step that Al Mezhar considered to be one of the most important elements of the festival success, which created various job opportunities in different positions in the festival, which he also considered to be another achievement for the festival and Ahsa municipality. He also explained that the jobs included organization teams, functionality of events and programs, site security, hospitality, sellers and workers in maintenance, electricity and general services. The Ahsa Secretary and President of the Higher Committee that organized the festival Engineer Fahad Bin Mohammad AL Jebair pointed in a talk to "Al Riyadh" that the Ahsa Summer Festival since it started before six years was able to recruit thousands of youths, which create temporary job opportunities that contributes in creating an amazing environment and provide the youth an opportunity to get new experiences. Engineer Fahad also pointed that the total economic development of tourism is one of the main achievements for the local society, and he bet that the success continuity of the festival is a clear indication of what the youth has of potentials that are able to create success whenever they had the opportunity. Ahsa secretary also mentioned the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' interest resembled by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities and its President his Royal Highness Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdelaziz with tourism because of its promising economic source in the country that is filled with a lot of potentials of this new sector. From his side, Ali Bin Taher Al Haji, the president of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities branch in Ahsa said that the five-nine years national plan indicated in one of its bases to enhance the contribution of tourism sector in the total local product, in addition to providing human qualifications that the job opportunities will require. He also continued pointing to tourism as an important economic tool that contributes in providing job opportunities and recruiting for the citizens and developing small and medium establishment as well as motivating a balance development, and he explained that he sees in the Ahsa Summer Festival a structuring for a lot of those views that his Highness Prince Sultan bin Slaman gives attention to, including the creation of massive job opportunities for both genders. "Al Riyadh" recorded some of the youths' reaction and their huge desire to work in the tourism sector where Saad Al Mugahwi and Abdulla Haron (18 years old working in the system) said that working in Hasana Fallah filled their time with something useful, which was not the same for them earlier. The festival provided women with modesty preserving work Abdulaziz Al Haji (19 years) wears a national uniform while he makes foul, liver and tea in the cultural village of the festival, and he points that got a lot of encouraging and good treatment from the visitors, which will motivate him to continue the work in the coming summer periods, while Rashed Al Sharaf and Ahmad Bugersain that are participating in the festival for the first time share the same opinion also. Um Abdulla and her son Abdulrahman stand in a section that experienced a lot of people visiting it, where they work on preparing various foods and dishes, where Um Abdulla says that her income in the festival helps here in the life circumstances. Abdelaziz Al Gathaa and his wife "Um Nora" (who came from Gussaim area) stand not far away from them, serving the traditional and modern foods, where Um Nora assures that she found in her job of preparing the traditional food a good opportunity to increase her income, and she pointed that she and her husband are participating in a lot of festivals, and she assured that her work didn't disrupt her modesty and that she and the rest of the ladies that are working in the festival are respected by any of the festival's visitors or organizers.
