Who masters his role in the cultural play?!
Published in Alriyadh on 03 - 08 - 2011

Its hard to compare between different people whose existence was enhanced with the fake views and between people that you find renewing its scientific development in another competition, meaning to distinguish it self from other, with the existence of the cultural gaps. The most thing that puts a comparison between advancement and backwardness is the general image between the Europeans, Americans, and those the brought to life of Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and others and between the Asian who filled the emptiness of his nation with a productive scientific project in a speed exceeded that of the west who always looked at Asia as a human store that is drowning in its fantasies and myths.
The Chinese, Japanese and South Korean Asians and others that spread it self to catch up to the list of the advanced goods controllers that entered the world market, you see him wearing a normal shoe, down-to-earth clothes and a bag filled with modern tools such as laptop, mobile phone and advanced cameras, entering the European capitals to see on the streets and the high towers the ads of the cars, electronic and advanced devices that he participated in making and exported by his company. The historical engineering of the building may not impress him despite that he cares about each historical achievement, rather he is concerned with entering the market and spreading the goods that are now his power center in front of those that taught him the modern civilization, and it is the Asian's miracle that reduced the differences with others and adopted the policy of advanced goods invasion and competing if not controlling the international market.
The planes that carry the western and the American are of their country's production, but most of its detailed devices are of Asian production. Even when they enter the market and sees the eastern restaurants and its dynamics, he finds that the old image has changed, meaning that the short Asian turned huge in his civilization and industries, and is not a burden on any civilization any more, but he came back to mix his history with the tools of this age, where the powers are now equal not by the city milestones and lifestyles only but in the intellectual base of two sides where one of them was under the tyranny of the others advancement, but the other side fill the gap and exceeded.
The competition between the three continents will be open on the directions of who wins the post-globalization competition, and will the mastery will stop in its old concept, or would the Asians who are not any longer away from the history of the western life? The case is that the new variables, especially in Asia, came through the dynamics of the citizens that lost its role for long generations, when the west was the birth of this age but it came back to take it role, and the importance that pushes the east to spread its experience that it has the ability to cross its self and that the human is equal in emotions, intellectual and scientific contributions, and that the competition made him reach his goal with a general plan that the nature of the struggles defined, in addition to the causes of the competition age.
Our Arab citizen, the gulf citizen in specific, is consuming his resources in funny ways by owning jewelry, high-class cloths and luxurious cars that he wants to show off in Europe, which are made by the people of that continent. The problem is not a cultural difference in the general behavior but rather it's a civil difference that is not reduced by faking the face of the Arab women by using the makeup, perfumes and jewels, and not by the men showing off their yachts, cars and the most recent fashion clothes while his actual presence is not there and so he becomes just a consumer and a burden on others.
