Council of Senior Scholars: reform will not happened with protests and statements but with counseling Assuring that KSA did not and will not permit foreign concepts to defame its Islamic identity or separate the community,
Yesterday, Council of Senior Scholars assured in its report that keeping the community together is one of Islam foundations and invited everyone to strengthen the bonds, understanding and cooperation. It warned from the reasons of injustice, oppression and looking down on the right. The Council stressed that reform and counseling has one legal way which brings interest and stop corruption not by thrilling statements which to be signed. Council of Senior Scholars said that since the Kingdom is based on Quran, Sunna and allegiance, the reform and counseling must go without protests or seditious means that separate the community. As the protests are prohibited in this country, the legal way which achieves the public interests with no corruption is counseling. It also stressed that the legal, supervising and executive authorities must do their job as ordered by the regime and the King plus punishing the negligent. The statement assured that the Kingdom will not allow ideas of East or West to deform the Islamic identity or separate this community. It warned against extreme intellectual or partial relationships. Al Humeen: we must follow the legal provisions which protect the Muslim from causing dissention or seeking it. Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Hameen Al Humeen (the General President of the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vices) confirms the importance of legal commitments in protests along with Quran and the scholars' obedience. He explained that the kingdom is applying Shari'a (the best relationships between the king and his people and keep rights and freedom to enhance the society as followed in our history. He stressed the importance of legal rules which protect Muslims from causing dissention or seeking it. The Muslim must abide by the orders of Allah and his Messenger (PBUH) which prevent the encroachment against leaders or endangering the nation's public interests. We must learn the lesson regarding what is happening in some countries which lead it to lawlessness and social fears.
