Granting the royal approval regarding "a set of solutions" to face emergencies in Jeddah Restructuring the Municipality and establishing crises and disasters management center
His Excellency agreed upon solutions and videos which Prince Khalid Al Faisal (Mecca Prince) had submitted as a plan for facing any emergencies in the district plus solving Jeddah infrastructure problems. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques ordered to start the plan as soon as possible. These solutions include setting special emergency schemes by security and service authorities in coordination with each other to provide an inclusive and united emergency plan, establish crises and disasters management center urgently and support Civil Defense and Traffic Department with all needed human resources, equipments and new technologies. This plan includes the support of concerned security bodies in order to face the natural disasters with the help of trained qualified persons to act quickly when the disaster occurs. Moreover, it includes restructuring Jeddah Municipality and providing it with qualified administrators who are able to manage the tasks as required by new technologies in order to specify the safe or green zones the time of the disaster for guiding people to protect themselves from dangers.
