The authority of the Industrial cities and the technical areas was busy in establishing a comprehensive trucks factory , through a Saudi – Japanese partnership , its terms will be announced by Abdullah Zainel , Minister of commerce and industry , chairman of " Modon " " cities "today .
While " Modon " had allocated 120 thousand square meters to establish the giant project in the eastern area , the partner the Japanese " Isuzu " to export 40 % of the initial production to the international markets .
This approach of the authority of the cities within its development plan for the industrial cities , where it allocated a great area for vehicle production in many cities .

According to the information that obtained by " Al Riyadh " , the project is considered as one of the pioneer projects in the country , as it is not limited to assembling of an imported parts , but it is a comprehensive factory , will make many parts of the truck in the kingdom , and will utilize the high technologies and international experiences specialized in producing of vehicles and trucks , and there will be investment opportunities to establish new factories and production lines in an existing factories to produce parts and accessories of the vehicles . the project is considered one of the most important projects that been attracted to utilize the high technologies in the industry especially vehicles industry through one of the biggest specialized Japanese companies . this investment is considered one of the most valuable added projects which will be very profitable for the industrial sector in the kingdom by opening an employment and investment opportunities in the complementary industries . the kingdom has many economic advantages , financial facilities and motivations , human qualified efficiencies , a comprehensive infrastructure and supportive industries , as the Saudi market one of the strongest markets in the area , the matter that the economic profitability of the project motivated to establish the factory in the kingdom .

This , it is expected that the project will start by pumping 600 middle size trucks for transportation , within two years followed by expansion of the project stages to reach 25 thousand trucks per year within the next 6 years . worth to mention that the authority of the industrial cities is supervising now on 20 existing industrial cities in different areas in the kingdom ( Riyadh 1 and 2 , Jeddah 1 and 2 ,Al Dammam 1 and 2 , Makah , Madina , Al Qaseem , Al Ehsaa , Aseer , Al Jawf , Tabouk , Hael , Najran , Jezan , Al Kharj , Aaraar , in addition to Sedeer city of industry and business and Rabigh complex for plastic technologies ) . a contracts had been signed for development of another five new cities ( Riyadh 3 , Zolfa , Shaqraa , Taif and Baha ) , while the work is running on making the designs and drawings for another new cities which are ( Jeddah 3 , Al Dammam 3 , Salwa , Al Ehsaa 2 , Hafer Al Baten , and medicative industries in Al Oyainah .
The infrastructure of the assimilation of the industrial projects had participated in assimilation of 3000 industrial projects representing 60 % of the Saudi Arabia factories , that its investments are exceeding 250 billion riyals . the authority is receiving an applications to obtain the lands electronically through the web site www.modon.gov.sa , where the authority has areas for the industrial projects , residential uses , commercial activities , shopping showrooms , service center and public facilities that provide its services with encouraging prices , which provide various options for all businessmen , locally , in gulf region and foreigner for investment in all available different opportunities whither industrial , residential , commercial or services .
