The Slap that Stared the Fires
Published in Alriyadh on 04 - 02 - 2011

When would there be a nation with no sects, nationalisms, and leaderships that decide what they want, think on our behalf, order us and impose their legislations and laws considering themselves to be the wise and fair. And when will we, individuals and groups stop being considered as puppets whose destiny and life is decided by them?!
Coups that involved in the evolutionary work stream did not only fail with their slogans, but also in the comprehensive civilized achievement. Totalitarian governments had also been unsuccessful in creating a historical project that would transmit us from ignorance and illiteracy into energies employing all factors for work and giving.
The Islamic movements represented in the Muslims Brotherhood in Egypt were the initiation of the public organization against the British occupation, after which they supported the coup of 1952. However, storms began with the involvement of this movement in the political conflicts which generated division and imprisonment, and then came the parties: Communism, Baath, Arab Nationalists, and the Nasiris who waged wars amongst each other since every party has its own ambitions in authority and influence. All divided, and the Arab nation has turned into winds as every party claimed ownership of absolute truth. However, war and failing to lead the people, in addition to authoritivness which came with military deafest, disempowered all of these parties and took away their implications. As a result, the reaction was represented by opposing the radical Islamic movements that wanted to fill in the vacuum in the Islamic and Arabic Street. None the less, the outcomes came against their calculations, and they involved in political wars versus the whole world.
Although Islam is a big creed, and an objective alternative to return to the roots, the controversial interpretations of nations will violated religions and oppressed people, and also imposed the concept of Hakimiya (Governance) resulting in the birth of Qaeda and Taliban and their affiliates who approached violence as a way of salvation.
In the third world, leaders are the only dynamo. And because authority transmission through free polling is a locked way, endings were desperate; coups and anti-coups, exiles for leaders and their followers, homicides, executions under the title of purification of corrupts, and the yet what is coming will be even worse. And because the circumstances are what create the corrupt leaderships, the camp continued to be a scene of crisis. As a result of these disappointments, the implications of awareness blew everywhere in the world through the quick communication and attainment of information in an empty vacuum created Arabic national revolutions to found another pattern that matches the international rights and democracies. The beginning with a a Tunisian woman slapping a vegetables hawker, forming the spark that caused fires in Tunisia, then in Egypt, and yet it might sweep to more than one county unless national demands are met and justice and freedom prevail.
