Modhesh World Mascot Welcomes Saudi Visitors at Dubai International Airport
Published in Alriyadh on 24 - 07 - 2017

Modhesh World, one of the most popular indoor edutainment destinations in the region, is turning out to be among the most popular attractions for Saudi families who are in Dubai this summer. The destination's iconic and ever-smiling mascot ‘Modhesh' recently greeted travellers from Saudi Arabia at Terminal 2 in Dubai International Airport, where he posed for photographs with his little fans and also gave away free passes to the indoor theme park.
Organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism), the family-friendly venue has been attracting guests of all ages and nationalities to its exciting array of rides, games, events, workshops and more, since its launch on June 20th, 2017.
"I was very excited to see the Modhesh mascot greet us all at the airport," said a visitor who is enjoying his summer vacation in Dubai. "Modhesh World was one of the places that I had requested my parents to take me to when we were planning our visit. It's a place designed for children to express themselves, learn and have fun. Our parents too like the atmosphere at Modhesh World and appreciate the educational element it provides along with the entertainment through rides and games."
An ‘all-fresh, all-imaginative and all-connected' destination, Modhesh World this year is home to six dedicated zones including Food Park DXB – its newest attraction for the season, Road to Future, Amusement Street, Winners Circle, Back to Nature and Show Town – all of which are drawing young visitors and families for their unique set of experiences. From ‘Happy Box', a ‘Happiness Workshop' that is inspiring art and creativity among participations to ‘WOW Kids', a playground of the future that features digitally powered games, Saudi parents and children are spoilt for choice with an endless range of fun-filled, innovative and ‘edutainment' activities.
The destination's mission is to spread happiness and cheer among visitors through engaging workshops, immersive rides and exciting surprises. It will continue to draw visitors to Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) until August 12th, 2017 – the final day of Modhesh World 2017.
Modhesh World runs in Hall 1-6 in the Dubai World Trade Centre. Tickets are valued at just AED 20 and kids under the age of two enter for free. Regular timings: 11:00 am to 11:00 pm from Saturday to Wednesday and 11:00 am till midnight from Thursday to Saturday. As a special gesture, Modhesh World organisers have introduced a ‘special savings' deal where visitors now can enjoy 50% discount on entry fee and select rides from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm till August 12th, 2017.
