King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid launched on Monday a program to distribute 569,340 breaking-fast meals in Somalia during the holy month of Ramadan to ease the sufferings of the Somali people affected by drought in the previous years. It is noteworthy that the program will distribute 18,978 meals per day in the most desperate areas in Somalia. Also, King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid launched a breaking-fast program in Abyan Governorate in Yemen. The program comes within the framework of humanitarian works being carried out by King Salman Center towards the Yemeni people, aims to distribute 30,000 breaking-fast meals in Abyan and targets 234,000 people in several governorates during the holy month of Ramadan. King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid also started a project of distributing breaking-fast meals in Stoye city of Arakan State in Myanmar. The meals contained the basic requirements of the family and will be distributed until the end of the holy month of Ramadan. The project is an extension of 202 humanitarian and relief projects offered by the Center, which were implemented through 103 partners in 37 countries on four continents.
