Current and former FBI agents are still reeling from Director James Comey's unceremonious dismissal Tuesday. Many learned about it from the news, the same way Comey did. Some of them said Wednesday that their uneasiness is heightened by questions about who will lead the bureau next. Agents say they are upset that President Donald Trump would oust Comey without giving him a chance to notify his employees. Many of them saw Comey as a good leader, even if some believed his very public actions at times set the bureau on the wrong path. Trump says he based his firing on a memo blasting Comey's handling of the probe into Hillary Clinton's emails. Some agents also disagreed with Comey's approach. But most agents did not want to see him go.
