President of Sudan receives Saudi minister of Islamic affairs

President Omar Hasan Al-Bashier of The Sudan received at his office in Khartoum today visiting minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh.
Following the meeting, Al Al-Sheikh lauded Sudan's noble and historical positions in support of the Arab Coalition and Islamic Coalition.
He expressed happiness of meeting President Al-Bashier and conveying to him the appreciation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's leadership, government and people of for the fraternity and strong relation shared by the two countries.
He pointed to the great supportive role played by the Sudanese government in support of active institutions working in the field of religious research and teaching in The Sudan.
The Kingdom, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, does appreciates Sudan's president, government and people for their fraternal and faithful feelings towards the Kingdom.
He reiterated that relations between the Kingdom and Sudan would remain highly evaluated, noting the historic, firm and distinguished ties binding the two countries enjoying full and continuous coordination in the political and military fields as well as other fields in support of joint projects.
He described Sudan as an influential member of the Arab Coalition, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, citing the determination storm and restoration of hope as well as its influence in the Islamic Alliance against terrorism.
He lauded the transparency, keenness and interest shown during the meeting with President Al-Bashier, underscoring the importance of extending bridges between religious scholars in the two countries with the aim to strengthen the Islamic entity through promoting the message of mosques, religious colleges and universities and the Ulemas message as regards Fatwas (jurisprudence) and guidance.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Isam Al-Bashier, Chairman of the Sudanese Islamic Jurisprudence Complex; Ali bin Hasan Jaafar, Saudi ambassador to the Kingdom; and the minister's official delegation.
