Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques leaves Riyadh for Jordan and deputes Crown Prince to administer State's affairs

The Royal Court said in statement issued today that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud left Riyadh on Monday 28/6/1438 AH corresponding to 27/3/2017 to pay a visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan at the invitation of King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussain; the visit emanates from the brotherly ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
During the visit, they will discuss bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in all fields, as well as regional and international issues of common interest.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques will head the Kingdom's delegation to the Arab Summit at its 28th ordinary session to be held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on 1/7/1438 AH corresponding to 29/3/2017 AD.
The King was seen off at King Salman Airbase Airport by Prince Abdul-Ilah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, a number of princes, ministers and officials.
The King was accompanied by a number of princes and officials.
The official delegation accompanying the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques included Minister of State and Cabinet's Member Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, Minister of Health Dr. Tawfiq bin Fauzan Al-Rabiah, Minister of State and Cabinet's Member Dr. Essam bin Saad bin Said, Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Minister of Transport Sulaiman bin Abdullah Al-Hamdan, and Chief of General Intelligence Khaled bin Ali Al-Humaidan.

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued today a royal decree deputing Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz to administer the State's affairs and take care of the people's interests during his absence from the Kingdom due to his departure for abroad on Monday, March 27th, 2017.
