Today marks the second anniversary of the reign of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz – two years since the citizens had first pledged their allegiance to him. Within two years, the Kingdom has accomplished numerous political, economic and security achievements, topped by the Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program 2020. On this occasion, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, Deputy Premier and Interior Minister, has reiterated that King Salman has spared no effort in achieving Arab and Muslim solidarity. In a statement on the second anniversary, the Crown Prince said, "The Kingdom celebrates the second anniversary of the allegiance pledged to my master the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. It is a dear occasion for the nationals of our beloved nation. "The occasion reflects the sincere gesture of loyalty to a great leader whose decisiveness and determination, after the success rendered by Almighty Allah, made the country achieve great progress, prosperity, security, and stability. In his flourishing era, the wheel of development has been meeting the demands of citizens. "With the Grace of Allah, the Kingdom has been able to maintain the security and stability it has been enjoying. This security is in striking contrast with the disorder prevailing in many countries around the world. The Kingdom has met with tangible success in its anti-terrorism efforts, where plans of terrorists have been foiled, along with the drug trafficking and terror-financing operations." Meanwhile, Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Second Deputy Premier and Defense Minister, said that the Kingdom has become the focus of attention over the past two years. World leaders have been seeking to further strengthen relations with the Kingdom and coordinate on various regional and international issues. The Deputy Crown Prince added that under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Kingdom has made numerous global achievements which have increased its political weight and enhanced its international stature. He cited the warm welcome extended to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques during his visits to friendly countries as evidence of the global prestige enjoyed by the Kingdom. Under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Kingdom has taken the initiative to ensure the security, stability and integrity of Arab territories, Prince Mohammed said.
