Minister of Social Affairs Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi inaugurated last evening here the communications center for receiving reports about violence and abuse. The event was attended by President of the Human Rights Commission Dr. Bandar Mohammed Al-Aiban. In remarks on this occasion, Deputy Minister for Social Welfare and the Family Dr. Abdullah Almaiql said that after its development and modernization, and providing it with specialized women cadres, the communications center was equipped with latest modern devices and technologies, and has been allocated the free dial number 1919, noting that the center receives communications around the clock, seven days a week with full confidentially and designated for women of all age, children under the age of 18 years, the vulnerable elderly persons and people with special needs.
